As two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, the risen Christ walked with them and explained all
the Scriptures concerning himself. When they arrived in Emmaus and Jesus was at the table with them
he took the bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them.
Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him as Jesus!
